Communication with School
Academic grades in high school are the determining factor of admission for every top university in North America. BLUBC assists with and mediates the communication between the school, the student, and the student’s parents.
Improving Overall Reading and Writing Ability
Most students lack in their English reading and writing abilities. Insufficient reading will result in major difficulties in the student’s future study and career development. For instance, a student’s poor reading and writing skills will lead to a lower vocabulary and a lower understanding of academic subjects.
Reading daily and consistently can help students not only improve their reading comprehension, but also their memories, writing skills, and critical thinking. These habits have a direct and crucial impact on a student’s academic success.
Activity Guidance & Ability Training
Set up one-on-one consulting meetings and provide guidance on extracurricular activities for students based on each student’s characteristic and interests. Extracurricular activities include, but are not limited to, student clubs, volunteering, internships, competitions, summer courses, specialized training, etc.
Based on the requirement of each university, we will assist students to establish a new club of their interests upon request. Students will gain useful and relative skills that they need for university, such as leadership skills, communication skills, social skills, and global vision.
University/Major/Career Development
Meeting consultant regularly to select target universities and major. Consultants will reflect recent changes or updates regarding university profiles.
Develop A Good Study Habit and Stay Motivated
The main activity of most high school students is studying. Stress coming from studying can also leave a strong impact on students’ lives. Especially for newcomers, they may also be stressed due to culture shocks, identity crisis, and finding a place to belong. Usually, high school students are more physically mature and their psychological development is not at the same level as their physical maturity. Having an unstable psychological development, such as poor self-positioning, poor stress tolerance, and immature emotion control will result in extreme attitude and behavior changes. Moreover, technology may cause students to get addicted to games, phones, and internet, which can cause distraction. Too much stress may also lead to inferiority complex, procrastination, exhaustion, pessimistic outlook, lack of motivation and so on.
